The past two days have been horrible, is it just me or has anybody else noticed all the trash and debris on 95 and SP?

Yesterday on 95 between Decatur and Rancho, I had to swerve to the right shoulder to avoid a mountain of whatever it was in the road, that was about 8 last night

Today on my way to work, there was a lot of tire chunks from semis that had blowouts, one in the left lane of 95 between Craig and Lake Mead, and quite a few more along Summerlin Parkway between Rampart and Town Center Drive

Has anybody else seen all this crap on the freeways? I had to swerve to miss a piece of tire today and almost got into ANOTHER accident, doesn't the NHP care about the road hazards?

Welcome to Las Vegas interstate and highway travel. Around the I-15 and the spaghetti bowl, there are scores of half inch rocks that are easily picked up and thrown by the rear tires of trucks, especially in the northbound lanes.

By now you should have noticed all of the rock and debris haulers driving around town, some with debris flying out of the top. If you haven't been behind a truck that is caked with mud, sand and dirt watching the rocks bounce up and off the asphalt and onto your windshield, you're in for a real treat.

I think safelight exists because of Las Vegas.

My favorite are all the trucks warning you to stay back 200 ft because they are not liable for windshield damage. That's a bunch of BS. If you find yourself behind a rock or debris hauler with a retractable tarp and the damage is due to the tarp not being properly secured, take a photo (its obvious you drive with a digi) of the offending vehicle. Or call *NHP and report the offending truck.

We have a lot of junk on the roads in gusty conditions. That's life and the price of progress.

I have seen those gravel trucks, thats new to me, along with those belly dump trucks. I have been very fortunate not to get behind one yet (I avoid getting behind semis at all circumstances since they are such slow vehicles) I remember a week or so ago something banged the undercarriage of my car , I think it was a rock, didnt do any damage luckily. I avoid 15 like the plague unless I am on my way down to the strip, and Ill usually take 215 to get home which is usually very light traffic or empty
