Just happened within the last hour. There are at least two victims and the shooter is in custody. Conditions of the victims unknown.

I'm starting to wonder what the deal is with Knoxville. This has been an "interesting" year to say the least.

The Associated Press just called my son (he works part time as an EMT while he is in college) and asked for comments on todays shooting! Good grief. They are ruthless. So proud of son he told them that he could not comment whatsoever on anything. AP should not try to get people to violate HIPAA laws.

Depression, hatred, jealousy, greed, disappointment, discontentment, grief ,and one could go on, with all the negative things, and with loss of any positives, drugs and alcohol, lead desperate folks to do the unthinkables.

This is a very sad story indeed, but it shows the kind of world we live in now...

And before anyone brings it up, I will try to represent Knoxville Center in a positive light, because alot of people will say 'I told you so'... there is nothing wrong with that mall, I prefer it to the froo froo shops and snooty clerks at West Town.

Things are improving there, with the opening of several stores (including Hollister) and the rampant rumors of late is that Macy's may be opening up in the former Dillard's space.

Thought I would add my input on this subject before it even begins...
