I believe 212 w Lexington was a shoe repair shop when I was a kid.

Pearl Wilcox says the address at one time was related to transportation.

For what purpose was the address used for?

What connection to Missouri does Tom Berenger have?

Wow that's very interesting. I guess a lot of the local places have been associated with Jackson County at some point. You can add 321 Lexington to that list as well, but it's still a current-day county building.

These addresses were home to Jackson County, county offices--all at the same time.

Most specifically during the 1932-33 vacation and reconstruction of what is now the Truman Courthouse.

It is interesting to note that the city of Independence was able to sacrifice part of the City Hall at 200 s Main.

I think the current building at 205 w Lexington replaced, due to fire, the former building that was there, which took on some county office(s).

The 125 w Lexington location was a bank next to the former First National Bank and is now part of the vacated Bank of America building. This was supposed to be the building where Harry Truman moved his office.

Okay, that would be an interesting subject, which I don't have the answers.

So chime in everyone.

What current day addresses in all of Independence, Missouri, house Jackson County offices?

I will start it off with one place that most people would not have a clue as to the address and would have to look it up: 112 w Lexington.

The winner that has the most addresses gets a free trip to the square to look at the 326.74 marker.

Tom Berenger and Patrick Wayne starred/played in a western spoof a few years ago.

They were two good looking hulking guys that were in the prime of their lives.

The movie supposedly rivaled Blazing Saddles as the best western spoof. However, I have seen Blazing Saddles many times but this movie only once.

I have the DVR set to record The Last Will on Thursday evening since I have never seen it. I suppose I will look around and see if I can find the western spoof now.

What was the name of that spoof movie? It debuted more years ago than I want to remember.

I tried to pull the spoof up to see if I could view it on Comcast on demand. They want $3 to view such an old movie.
