Same challenge as yesterday, except this time you only get the 1957 view to begin with.

Identify the streets bordering this tract of land.

Good luck!

I will guess 39th on north, Lees Summit on west, Zero Highway or 71 By pass on east, and 40 highway on south.

The Mustang came out as a 1964 1/2 model and they are still listed as such. The companies were not used to releasing cars at mid-year back then.

My sister had one of the first. I am not sure what she did with it.

I have always believed that if a company could license manufacture of the original Mustang from Ford, they might have a best seller. Such as Glassic did with the 1931 Ford. That company manufactured those 1931 Fords for 16 years around the 70s, 80s time frame.
I owned it for about 3 years. It put 75k on it and would have loved to keep it, but I got married and my wife could not use the stick shift. I traded it for a 1965 Pontiac convertible. In August of 1969, we took a trip to St. Paul, MN to see a friend from my days in the Army and blew a belt just north of Albert Lea, MN. We made it to a service station north of there. It was around 11:00 PM or Midnight. The mechanic found out the belt he had for a 1965 Pontiac did not fit. He ended up driving to another town and brought back one for a 1966 engine and it fit. That ended up being a late night arrival in St. Paul.

I paid only $2,200 for my pony car. It was a stripped model, with a six cylinder, 3-speed. It was not a GT or a fastback, so I am not sure what it would be worth today if it had been kept in mint condition. I drove it way too hard and abused the pony car. Would you believe me if I told you it had run 115 mph according to the speedometer? It's a good thing I was not crazy in those days.

Well, that was solved quicker than I expected. Now I'll show you why I didn't post the 1963 view.

Is that the road to nowhere?

I don't know about your sanity now! Aren't you the fellow that was traipsing about in the woods of your childhood?

There are times when I still question my sanity, but what am I missing about the woods and an automobile?

Other than driving your automobile to the woods the two are not connected.

Today's mystery area is a bit larger. Who can identify this area as it appeared in 1957?

I will stand aside for a while.

I got it. If I got it, Silver Doc got it, and he would have got it, before I got it, chuckle.
