I don't seem to recall this place but it might have been on 23rd Street.

It was on 23rd, down around Sterling as I recall.


EDIT: It must have moved because in 1960 it's addressed at 10124 Truman Rd, which puts it in Maywood. We did business there and the building you posted doesn't look a bit like Streetview at that address. Nice "modern" S&L (ad says insured to $10,000 whoopee!) building standing on its own probably relocated to a better site on 23rd.

It also was Downtown at 1100 Baltimore

It was located on the southwest corner of Claremont and 23rd st. just east of Sterling. The Sun Fresh sign used to be the Safeway. (Gee! Imagine that, another Safeway store!)
