I feel this needs to be said about employment agencies. Many times, those ads are just to bring candidates in so that when a job DOES come in, they'll have a pool of people to select from. If you're a talented well skilled applicant that looks like brad or angelina, you're more likely to get the job. sad but true.
These websites can be a bit dangerous to put your personal info into. You never know who's on the other end of the computer unless maybe you're at a well known company's website.
As for the hour long application process only to have it hang up on you at the end, I learned that a quick run through where you quickly fill in the blanks just to get to the end will let you know if your computer's going to make it through the process. It also comes in handy because sometimes at the end there's information as to how many pints of blood and urine they want as well as a space for you to donate your kidney

. I could see a drug test maybe for a driver or our fearless politicians, but for your average office person, really? I hear these tests save the company money on their insurance. buy the way, when i fill in the website with 'bogus' info the first time around, i include a little note saying what I'm doing and apologize.
