They are calling for a couple inches tomorrow then the "Fay rain" on Wed & Thurs they are saying anywhere from 3 to 6"s

Sprinkler hasn't been on for months now thanks to the frequent rain this summer. But the community lawn gets a shower everyday from the sprinklers..wth.

Like to add that it's good idea to remind the neighbors to put away stuffs that can potentially damage YOUR house.

Really, the sprinklers should not be coming on.

Duval county code requires a rain gauge, so if sprinklers are coming on, the rain gauge might be malfunctioning, or the system was installed illegally. A neighbor of mine got caught when a plumber on another job caught sight of the unlicensed installer. Plumber called the city, and the city came out to my neighbor's house with a warning (he could have been fined).

So we're closing on our new home today (Tue) and our irrigation has the nice rain sensor jobbie thingies...

I wish Fay would just go away..... movers are coming Wed morning..... oh boy...what a pain in the rain....

we called the landscapers that handle our common area they are turning off the system for a few days

RR hopefully the movers can get the back of the truck as close as possible to the garage entrance
if it is storming really bad they may delay it
