Wanna bet the future and see who get to be as close to the Dow Jones Index in Oct?

The winners should be rewarded with reputation for the foresight on the target.

My bet is on Dow Jones : Red 9102.

We're officially in a bear market right now.

DOW is 20% off.

I already stated that 10k is an absolute solid floor that it will never get below again (as another poster already mentioned). The only questions you really need to ask are: will it go up a few hundred? Several hundred? A thousand? Two thousand? Etcetera. Down, it will never get. Too much support and too many safeguards in place. I still think we can see 13k by the end of the year and perhaps 40k by the end of the decade. Don't pay attention to the day to day 50, 250, or even 650 point swings.

40K is asking for too much.

I am going to disagree. Since the stock market is heavily manipulated I am not going to make a prediction where it will be at any point in time. However, when the major upcoming European crisis finally breaks the dow WILL drop below 10,000.

Dow should finish 13K by the end of year. The Euro crisis should be fixed by the end of month. Perhaps a bailout.

I hope you're right, but way too tough.

Would be nice to earn back that 23K I threw away, I already made tremendous progress today. Life is full of ups and downs. Last night I was flabbergasted, right now I'm somewhat overjoyed
