Out of curiosity, why don't you like Firefox? Alternate choices to FF and IE are Opera and Safari (the latter for Mac users).

Thanks for asking!

Here's a thread that was recently started in regards to issues with FF.
Is it just me, or does C-D not like Firefox?

Although no one here really had the answer... mine still gets hung up and there are other minor issues...however, it's not just with this BB there are several others.
I'm taking it in to a friend of mine who is an IT and see what he thinks.

That's weird. I assume you kept the default settings when you installed FF. Well, if you found another browser you like, then it's no biggie. But it'd be nice to find out why you and that other person got that Firefox error message.

Uninstall FF and reinstall. But delete the profile folder.

Firefox is much smoother- but you will have to download certain plug ins to view some video- also some pages do not load sometimes.

I have been using Firefox for 2 years now, and prefer it over Windows Internet Explorer, which while good, seems rather 'clunky'. Microsoft products tend to be the target of hacks.

Try Mozilla Thunderbird for an e mail program- its excellent.

I'm just curious, what are some safe links to FF. ???
I realize I don't know any of you personally...but I'd like to compare with the info that my friend has.

Maybe if I had more than one opinion and others that agreed I'd be in a better boat. I think the last one I had was not legit.
At least that's what my friend thinks...

Go to Mozilla - Home of the Firefox web browser and Thunderbird email client and get Firefox (and Thunderbird) from there safely.

If you google Firefox, obviously, the Mozilla sites come to the top but others do show up eventually. It is possible one of the sites may have been advertising in a toolbar or somewhere else.

That's why it's best to get a download from the parent company but if that isn't possible, a reliable mirror site such as Majorgeeks is a good place to go. Liz
