Not sure what you mean by from a developers POV, but I use Skydrive for things that I want to sync between my PC and my phone, and I use Skydrive mostly for copies of office files that I need to share with employees or clients.

Sorry about that, should have clarified. I am toying with the idea of developing apps utilizing cloud storage and wondering if there's any real differences (besides amount of space) between them.

Meant to say that I use Dropbox for syncing the phone, and Skydrive for docs.
Private cloud for everything else.... mostly because I started using this before there were as many free alternatives and I'm a little risk adverse with my data.
I use SkyDrive to back up my photos (about 15 GB worth). Love the 25GB of free storage.
