My one-sentence summary of that is as follows. "Cloud culture could be great but greedy media companies are going to ruin it for everyone with their inconvenient copyright laws." Sound about right?

Everything about PC development, network implementation and Internet use is a trend. All of the online social facilities are a trend to cloud computing. Right now they're a testing ground for development and training for general use. All of that social computing is stored on a hard drive somewhere, or multiple hard drives... everywhere.

The cloud will grow, the trend will continue. There's nothing to prevent you from using your personal hard drive or an external storage facility... in the cloud. Just as smartphone trends are going to wind up on a wrist band like that of Dick Tracy, computer functions will eventually become cloud oriented, like that of Star Trek. It may take a few decades but we are engaged.
