I was thinking about it, but this is not an easy task. It needs to be categorized with an add/delete option that will not mess up the list. If someone starts it, I can try to go through the posts and add links in right places. It will have to be probably a sticky.

I don't have the ability to edit an old post, can you?

If so, then a Word doc with the list would be ideal, but someone would definitely have to be responsible for it, and a copy held by another poster just in case. Unless there's somewhere on CD it could be stored as a Word doc?

Test: Copy two posts into Word then back again.

Luminosity Review | Summary

Recent research casts doubt on whether the kind of brain training provided by Luminosity can increase brain power. A Luminosity review shows that Luminosity's brain training delivers brain training games that are diverting and fun. Luminosity from Lumos Labs purports to strengthen a host of brain functions with just 15 minutes of training per day. However, independent research of this kind of brain training indicates that while Luminosity's approach to brain training might improve performance on the task being trained, it will not, unlike MindSparke's training, lead to general cognitive gains.

Lots of vintage pictures and posters, it takes some time to figure out the best ways to navigate:
If Charlie Parker Was a Gunslinger,There'd Be a Whole Lot of Dead Copycats

Vintage Hotel/motel pictures, posters, and postcards:

The Downtowner Motel and Hotel Postcard Archive: Downtown Motel - Salem, Oregon

Studio Backlots and Ranches

More vintage backlot stuff:
40 Acres - The Lost Studio Backlot of Movie & Television Fame

Goldfinger, then and now:

GOLDFINGER

Famous movie streets: then and now
Reelstreets Films - Home Page

And yet another famous street, Abbey Road webcam. Interesting to wee how many people imitate the album cover whilst they’re walking across:

Abbey Road - Crossing Webcam

iTunes applescripts mostly Mac, a couple PC ones:

Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes ♫ AppleScript Basics

Don’t know if this was posted elsewhere. Soyouwanna, a how-to guide:

SoYouWanna.com | Learn What You Wanna Do

See how many seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years you’ve been on the planet
Calculate duration between two dates

You can also do a countdown from today’s date to a future date.
Sort of a visual alarm clock that can be set for longer than twenty-four hours.
Even better if you make it your homepage:

Generic Calendar/Clock - Countdown to Sep 24, 2014 12:00 Noon in New York
