I know this thread has probably been posted a million times but I wanted to know what Indinapolis is like. Is it good for a single mid-20's male. Are there a lot transplants from other states that live and relocate to Indy? Also, is it fairly easy to meet new people and lastly, is Indy considered a good city to live in?

For the most part, yes. Indy is large enough in that it offers something for everyone but be wary: it really is what you make of it.

Not so much Indy as its suburbs. Especially to the north: they get a good amount of people who hgave relocated from elsewhere.

Sure. I think you'll find Indy to be a friendly city.

Absolutely. Indy does has issues as does any other city (crime, poor schools) but is still the fastest growing big city in the Midwest and is doing fantastic compared to its peers.

If you like sports and beer, this is your city! If your interests lay elsewhere, you'll probably end up very frustrated. Indy is very blue collar, conservative, and mostly nondescript. Housing is inexpensive compared to many other large cities.
