Interesting that the ones speaking out are the ones that suck. Seriously, does anyone like those listed so far? Thought not. It's a photo op. They are looking for an opportunity to get their name out their, nothing more.
How true. It's the celebrity w_h_o_r_e_s looking for a chance to get in front of a camera any chance they get. Talent won't carry them too far so they need to get wherever the cameras are, keep people remembering what big celebrities they are.

I'm not denying their pop star status in Latin America. But just like our own pop star bimbos like Madonna and Britney Spears, why should we really care what they think?
What about non-hispanic pop stars from other countries, are they also to determine the laws of our country?
At a Latin awards, Ricky Martin Spoke against AZ immigration law. He was received with a standing ovation.
Quote:
He added, "You are not alone. We are with you. Put a stop to discrimination. Put a stop to hate. Put a stop to racism... Long live love, long live peace."
Did he also tell them that he will put an end to all immigration laws of the USA so the USA can be about the only country in the world with no immigration laws of any kind?
I would have stood for him if he would have said :
"Stand for the law of the land you claim to like so much. Stand for legal immigration. Stand for fairness."
But, no, he had to go and make weenie of himself.
He's not standing for no immigration laws or even for immigration reform. He is standing for laws that use racial profiling. You should also be against racial profiling if you stand for fairness. Don't you think?

This crap is getting old. I have read the bill many times, and see NO WHERE that it allows RACIAL profiling, or anything about hispanics for that matter. It is about illegal, not race. If I'm wrong, post the section of the bill that states racial profiling is allowed. Otherwise, it's just a bunch of boneheads voicing their interpretation of the bill, and they need to stop spreading lies based on their own asinine opinions.

you think there won't be abuses of the law? that is what people are worried about, harassment based on race.
