Perhaps this is your idea of an "open mind."

As far as I see and reminding you can't change my mind those immigrants add to our economy but do not take away as much as you all think. Too frame your 2006 remark of their protest. Our economy suffered when they did not work. US citizens outraged because their favorite mexican resturant was closed that day. made no sense to me. If people hate mexico so much then why eat their great food?
Now my husband chose to work that day. He is guatemalan but a US citizen. But he is a workaholic like most I know.
Point well taken on the Wall Street debacle.

Needless to say: we as Americans need continue to 'clean house' re: illegals---------no matter where they are sourced from.

As for your hubby: the man is an American--------not Guatemalan.

That would be akin to referring to my father as a 'Hungarian': he is a naturalized US citizen.

I like Mexican food. But if a Mexican resturaunt closed I would simply go eat Thai instead. They give back more than they take? I think not. Immigrants to add to our society. Legal immigrants that is. Illegals simply yake what they can and make it harder for the HONEST immigrants who actually respect our laws, our culture, our custumes. Honest immigrants who feel honor bound to pay their own way. Can your open mind see the difference?

This isn't just about SOB its about all illegals.
That's not true. They have been shot at because of their good deeds. You forget there are farmers and minute men who shoot humans for the hell of it and hate the groups that offer only legal humanitarianism. They attack because of SOB haters. They want no one to help. Their job is very dangerous but they work with Border patrol as well and they know about the attacks too.
