Providence: In yet another move by the American Civil Liberties Union to thwart an elected official from enforcing this country’s immigration law, the civil rights group has sued the Governor of Rhode Island for his attempt to stem the influx of illegal aliens into the state.

They have no case. The civil rights of AMERICANS are not bieng violated, therfore the ACLU's involvement is rhetorical at best.

They're the ACLU....that's what they do. Are you surprised? You shouldn't be. The ACLU is pretty much going to do anything it can to 'go against the system', and cause the maximum 'annoyance' it possibly can to the largest number of people.

An easy way to guess what the ACLU will do in ANY given situation is to ask yourself, "what would an angry, rebellious 12-year old do in this case ?" That's almost always what the ACLU will do....

Angry, rebellious 12-year olds LOVE to make a 'scene', LOVE being the center of attention, LOVE to 'push the envelope', and LOVE to annoy the 'grownups' in any way they can. So does the ACLU.
