In his speech Obama spoke about immigration, "the need to stop the hateful rhetoric filling our airwaves" and "bringing the 12 million people here without documentation out of the shadows" to give them a "pathway to citizenship." Obama accused McCain of abandoning after major immigration legislation fell apart last year.

The hispanderfest continues. It will be interesting to see if he back pedals again when he gets in front of an American audience .

Sadly, it's becoming difficult to even watch him. It was bad enough when he denied that blacks are losing jobs to illegals.

Agreed. Which is exactly why I refuse to vote for him. If there is any humor in the pandering being done by both he and McCain it is the fact that they cannot act alone and POTUS or not a bill for the DREAMACT or amnesty cannot pass without a majority vote.

Here's hoping that the Tancredo gang stops them cold.

Illegals aren't hiring them.
Theyre losing jobs to employers.

Only because blacks, whites and any other US citizen of any backgroung, religion or ethnicity refuse to work for scab wages. Illegals will work for scab wages.
I also think that employers should be heavily fined and yes, jailed if they continue illegal hiring practices. The only problem is getting local governments to start enforcing this without the ACLU and the Mexican American Alliances from protesting it and challenging it in courts.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! For months, you have emphatically refuted each and every post on this forum maintaining a correlation between unemployment and depressed wages for legal U.S. citizens, and the employment of illegal aliens. According to you, illegal aliens are ONLY doing jobs Americans WON’T do; they’re providing a valuable service due to our “shortage” of legal citizens willing to perform those jobs……yada, yada, yada.

You said, and I quote, “They’re losing jobs to employers.” This, of course, proves the anti-illegal immigration argument......they are in fact losing jobs. The fact that unscrupulous employers are responsible for hiring illegal aliens does not alter the fact that in most instances, they have in fact “replaced” legal U.S. citizens.

It was no doubt a Freudian slip; nevertheless, these are your words.

The defense rests……

uhh......haven't I already said that several times?
Ive always said the blame lies more in the employers saving a buck than the individual illegal immigrant.
BUt I'll pretend you caught me anyways... oh my god! You got me!
(maybe you missed all the times ive said that when you were skimming through my posts to find something to challenge)

Sigmund Freud you are not. But I'd be interested to know what he would make of many of the things you have said.

And I dont need any psychoanalysis on JDUB to know whats going on in that brain, lol.
