Ive decided to make a post about my opinion on ilegal inmigration. Im from Argentina, i moved here back in 2001. I entered the country legally (i flew) thanks to my father.
In Argentina we have the same problem. People from Bolivia and Peru all move to Argentina because they want to have a better life and im ok with that, we all deserve to move to a different country and try to be a better version of ourselves, BUT when you start taking advantage of the country and its benefits, that's when i have a problem. The Argentinian goverment give them money each month depending on how many kids they have to "help them", but this technique doesnt really help them, what it does is to make them more and more lazy. All they do is to have babies like rats so they can get more money from the goverment. They dont want to work, they just sit around and wait for their monthly check, and guess who pays for that ? yes, the citizens. And on top of that, they are the ones that commit (spelling?) a lot of crime. They live in dirty places, they arent clean at all. Its just awful.
When i moved here and i had all these people telling me how bad the Mexicans were i didnt believe them (i guess i didnt want to) but then i thought and i said to myself, "these people are doing the same thing they don in Argentina". So that made open my eyes and see the reality.
Most people would say "yes, but not only the Mexicans do this". Well, in my opinion, they are the ones you see living off the goverment (talking about inmigrants, not the American citizens).
The other thing that really gets me is the schools. I live in the heart of Hollywood, everytime i drive by the "Hollywood High School", all you see is little Mexicans and some black kids, its insane. I know it sounds racist but im not really, im just being realistic. To see white kids in school you have to go to Beverly Hills/Brentwood, etc where the latinos cant afford to live because its so expensive.
Lets talk about "im so proud to be Mexican". I love when people are proud to be from any country in the world. Im proud to be from Argentina but i dont live there anymore, i live in the US and i love it here. But i dont go around shouting how proud i am to be from Argentina waving my flag or putting it on my balcony. I do have a little Argentinian flag next to my computer, but thats it. It gets on my nerves when they come here and bring with them their Mexican habits. If you are SO proud for your country, why dont you go back ?
I love celebrating the US holidays, i love respecting the rules of this country, respecting the flag, singing the hymn, celebrating 4th of july, etc. I dont deny where i am from, i love Argentina with all my heart but right now i live in the US. If one day i see one Argentinian on the street shouting "Argentina, Argentina !!", i would tell them to go back because this isnt the place to do it.
I made the decision to move here and i dont regret it. I learned the language (still learning everyday), i pay my taxes, i respect the rules.
Well, that was a humble opinion from an inmigrant living in the USA.
P.S: Sorry for my English. Im not too good on writting. I speak better than i write *shy*

Word is many people from way down in LatAm are the same as you here in the US: they like it here and DON'T like illegal aliens, even ones from Mexico tho all of you are "Hispanic".
I repped you too.
