And neither are you. It is pure speculation and an excuse to stop LE from inquiring about status in this country (under the authority of the laws as they were written) by the defenders of illegal aleins. Yeah, let's just throw the baby out with the bathwater because just maybe a mistake might me made here and there or because 100% of cops might not execute their jobs according to our laws. Better to have millions of illegal aliens running amok in our country, right?

What is the current implementation if someone is arrested? They are checked for immigration status once they arrive at a detention location (bigger facilities have ICE agents or 287(g) officers present). For the laws, "as they were written", if passengers to a vehicle are not implicated, they are released.

State how you want to change the law, your earlier explanations were not very consistent...

Inconsistent? How so? I said I agree with sb1070 as it is written. Where did I say I wanted to change it and why would I want to? I have no reason to want to change the rules of engagement for the BP either. It appears that it is you that wants changes to these laws or are implying that there is rampant abuse in the the enforcement of them.
