I get the feeling they are not really concern with the illegal epidemic, and Louisiana leaders are just upset they didn't get the population increase they wanted from either the undocumented or citizens.

Also I think it is funny that they are counted since their presence here is technically unknown since it was not authorized by Government.
The constitution didn't really take notice of 'illegal immigration'. That notion would have been foreign. Immigration laws weren't really put into effect until the late 19th and early 20th Centuries, and it's well-documented that most of them were racially-motivated. That's why the motives of people who go on about 'illegal' immigration are viewed with suspicion. Is it a concern for respecting law and order, or is it something deeper than that?

I do not mind anyone of any race coming to america, legally. but to cross the border illegally just because it suits them or they dont feel like waiting is just wrong.
they should be deported at their cost or the country from where they came from costs.
