This means that a state harboring more illegal aliens can gain more House seats as long as the Census Bureau finds the illegal aliens and counts them. This also means that the illegal alien population resident in the United States during a census year has the potential to alter the regional and philosophical balance of power in Congress.

I say go ahead and count the illegals but do not use their number to calculate house seats. illegal aliens should not have representation in congress. however we do need to know how many of them are in the country.

And I agree with that 100%. When they count them get thier address, then do a follow up with ICE.

Speechless . . . .
Why are you surprised? I'm not. It skews it to the party that gives to those who have no right to get the vote. Census for people living in the country, yes. They have always counted all people.
If you ever bother to READ the censuses, they used to ask if the person was a CITIZEN and even year of immigration, parent's nationality and date of citizenship. [I do genealogy and have lots of experience with the state and Fed censuses]

And what party would that be?
The state that recieves the largest number of illegal immigrants from Mexico right now is Texas (which last year surpassed California due to having a better economy than CA). What political party is dominant in Texas, and if more House seats in Texas are created as a result of more illegal immigrants being counted, what party are they likely to go to?
