Most deported illegal immigrants from 4 Latin American countries (Mexicans, stats, Spanish)

Nearly 363,000 of the 396,900 people deported by Immigration and Customs Enforcement in fiscal year 2011 were from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, government figures show. Here’s the breakdown:
• Mexico - 286,893 (72 percent)
• Guatemala - 33,324 (8 percent)
• Honduras - 23,822 (6 percent)
• El Salvador - 18,870 (5 percent)

This shows they are profiling themselves.
The numbers are telling of who are the biggest illegal invaders.

But congress & the president turns a blind eye to these stats. They need to send a clear message that we will not tolerate illegals.

I'm half Hispanic and am not embarrassed by this. Instead, I'm angered. My Hispanic family is not from Mexico, Central or South America and it angers me to get stereotyped as wanting all illegal alien Hispanics amnestied. I think that if they are here illegally, they need to go back to their own countries. I feel the same way about illegal aliens that come from the European country that my non-Hispanic grandparents came from.

Anyone who wants to amnesty illegal aliens should feel embarrassed.

Hispanic is only a culture anyway based on the Spanish language. From what I have heard the culture of Spain would be different from that of Mexico and Argentina would be different culturally, etc. There are many Americans of Spanish descent from Spain but as you said they have no ties to Mexico/ Latin America at all. They all just seem to get lumped altogether. Not all Hispanics are pro-illegal immigration and amnesty. It is mostly those with ties to those from south of our border that are for the obvious reason that is where most illegals are from.

My family is Puerto Rican---and you're right---we have no ties to Mexico, Central or South America. We have no illegal alien relatives.

I've heard about some real bad blood between PR's and other Hispanics, especially Mexicans and even Chicanos. Why I don't know.
