Local law enforcement was bombarded with calls from across the country Saturday asking about a report that the Zetas had taken over two ranches off Mines Road.

Thanks for the update.

Yeah but, I am reading stories that this type of reply to questions is part of the news blackout. Right now I don't know if it's true or not. Still looking.

It’s sad that we can’t trust our government. If it’s true, they can’t squelch the story for long.

I heard Obama actually ended up getting together an elite group of individuals. Individuals with a plan. Too bad no one has any idea who they were.

Ten years ago / In 1972), a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The A-Team

This may be the first legitimate story I have seen by Michelle Malkin.

There’s a new outbreak of disorder at the southern border this weekend.
The AP reports on gun battles (http://whttp//www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/jul/24/gunbattles-paralyze-mexican-city-across-from-texas/ww.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/jul/24/gunbattles-paralyze-mexican-city-across-from-texas/ - broken link) plaguing the region across from Laredo, Texas:

Why is this thread in illegal immigration?

We are talking about a possible invasion by drug cartels. It has nothing to do with immigration.

"The bloodbath continues along our southern border and now word is coming in that Los Zetas, the highly trained killers formerly with the Gulf Cartel, have crossed into the United States and taken over at least two ranches in the Laredo, Texas area. I am receiving word that the owners of the ranches have evacuated without being harmed."

This is breaking news and may not be 100% accurate. I have searched for more info but everything I find links back to this story.
I don't believe anything from a far right-wing fundamentalist blog. they are nothing but Liars for Jesus if it suits their purposes. It looks to me like they are scaremongering and trying to stir up a revolution.

Come back when there are hard news sources confirming the story.
