The good: Watching a moose come out of the forest while you have your coffee.

The not-so-good: Watching a moose come out of the forest while you have your coffee and it's snowing in late April.

Better than watching a coyote kill your neighbors cat during a morning dust storm in Arizona

Incredibly beautiful. It does seem as if this has been an especially intense winter in North Idaho.

Long snowy winters make for lots of irrigation water. YAH!
The green verdant valleys next to the snowy peaks are what I love about Idaho!

I live in N. Idaho and we had a coyote kill a fawn right in front of our house.

aaaahhh, I hate that...but unfortunately its part of Nature and the circle of life, so to speak. Out here the coyotes get the baby antelopes...but if they didn't we would have antelopes coming out of our ears.

The not-good-at-all: watching a moose come out of the forest right in front of you when you've finished your coffee and gone outside to moose watch, and it's late spring and he hasn't eaten for weeks and no coffee either and he's in a bad mood.
