We have to move due to husband's job relocation and have had a very difficult time finding a realtor who wants to list property that is not a bank owned property. We have a small ranch (80 acres) near Cambridge with a new, custom home. We need a realtor who knows how to sell country property and isn't afraid to get out and walk to show the ranch. It is very frustrating talking to the ones who say, "oh I only sell bank owned". Really? Does anyone have good experience with a realtor you can recommend?

We bought property in New Plymouth using a local realtor. That was Myra Attebury at Waldo Realty. She listened to our interests and needs. She spoke to other realtors about listings. She lined up people for a perc test and held our hands through what could have been a nightmare, buying 850 miles from where we were living. She even continued to help us out after the sale was closed and completed. She seemed to believe she was working for us, her buyers, and worked accordingly. Chuck and Deb.

Thanks. Can you tell me how you found/chose her ? We know our property is not going to sell to someone local as it is a high end house on acreage, so we need a realtor who will market to out of area buyers. And in this market, I think a good realtor is essential.

We found her accidentally. We got off the highway looking for a coin-laundry. After putting clothes and quarters in a machine, we went for a walk to look over an unexplored town. We found her working late on a Friday night and walked into the office. Good choice on our part. Good luck to you.
