My Jeep was 4300# and had 357hp/390tq and felt the same as my current vehicle. This adds 800# and no power to that. Trust me, x5 ain't worried about that dog. Rx350 should be though.
Not the M or 50i models, but a claimed 0-60 of 5.7 is probably just fine for most X5 buyers. It's slower than an xdrive40i but not all that much slower, and really I doubt most people buying large SUVs particularly care. They may not want something slow but 5.7 isn't slow. It's more Aviator than X5 anyway.

If I were to switch from a sedan to an SUV, the Genesis GV80 would be on top of my list. But I would wait for the six-cylinder model.

Seeing the same. Demand far exceeds inventory....few automakers can say this now a days.

The 3.3T engine that is coming to America is a 6 cylinder model and packs plenty of grunt. Go test drive a G70 at your nearest Genesis dealer and you'll see.

its a mistake to include Genesis with the Kia/Hyundai brands anymore. Not even close.

Genesis is going to have a tough road to get away from it’s “lesser” siblings. Simply because people are too ignorant that Genesis is its own brand.
I was waiting to see if Genesis will bring their own SUV to the market. And I’m glad they did because it’s on my list now.

Also considering the Genesis sedan. Key for me is service. I’m reluctant to pay for the Lexus, Audi, BMW service. Wonder how expensive the Genesis service is?

Agreed. Again and again I have been tempted to consider the Genesis but when for the price I can get a name brand luxury car it gives me pause. For $50K, I don't want to be looking at the KIA logo all day.

It's actually getting the significantly refreshed version, 3.5TT, expect more power (close to 400hp, especially since they're phasing out the V8) and better fuel mileage.

I think the GV80 looks stunning, and it's going to be tempting to trade in my '15 Hyundai Genesis on one.

If you have a ‘15 Genesis 5.0 rwd sedan in Ibiza blue then keep it.
