Car magazines tested the three different engines on the 2015 Sonata and they found the Eco model (1.6L turbo) is actually the fastest and most fuel efficient non-hybrid model.

To update - they let me know what happened. They "forgot" to deduct my rebate! They fixed it and I signed new papers and all is well. It had me worried all evening and all night last night. lol.

Yeah, I believe that too. I heard it was even quicker 0-60 than the 2.0L turbo model.

I actually drove the ECO model. It was a pretty quick car, but the transmission was very odd behaving. It was like a manual shift at low speeds/parking lots. I don't know if I could have ever got used to that. I am sure I would have eventually. It was only $500 more for that model at the other dealer, but they only had two in dark gray and two black ones and I didn't want those colors, so I passed. In a way I wish I had of went with the ECO, but too late now.
