OK, that makes sense to a degree, but you'd think that was already taken care of when the hotel there was built.

Default Candlewood Suites downtown Madison

Coming soon, looks like it may be part of the Sealy development on Sullivan Streetin downtown Madison. The overall development will be very similar to the Avenue in downtown Huntsville.

Actually, it is about a half of a mile south of the Sealy Development - it is just south of the Madison Manor Nursing Home and just north of the medical offices at Spenryn Drive. It will be 4 stories tall and have 81 rooms.

was rumored now official Wahlburgers will locate at Mid City instead of the downtown AC Hotel City Centre.
A different concept restaurant has been previously announced for the AC Hotel, Gemini Kitchen + Cocktails

Per the developer: Wahlburgers reevaluated the Huntsville market and determined MidCity would be a better fit for the new restaurant location.

A no brainer really, Topgolf is bringing in loads of traffic and MidCity is shaping up to be the new spot for Huntsville.

Any idea what the "attendance" at Top Golf has been since it opened? I read a couple of weeks ago that the one in Birminham is doing really well. I don't remember the exact number, but seems like it was about 500,000 so far. I suppose they opened at about the same time.

I haven't heard numbers but I do know that they are staying completely booked with reservations and standby wait is often in excess of 1 1/2 hour if you can even get in at all. So yeah, it is doing very well so far.

From Dec.1 to March 31, over 250,000. Expectation of total attendance for an entire year was 500,000. Eight months left
