Went to Blue Plate for breakfast this morning. Anybody know what the structure is that's being built just north of them and Governors Drive? I assume it's apartments - looks to be maybe 6 floors.

Does Walgreens do much business other than as a pharmacy? I normally go through the drive thru, but when I go inside there's never anybody there except around the pharmacy area. Just an occasional customer in the retail part.
Went to a number of Walgreens recently looking for a WG exclusive hot wheels, I happened to notice almost all of their grocery items are 50%-100% more expensive than Kroger or Walmart. Crazy.

$30Mil warehouse project going in behind the old Chrysler/Remington facility near the airport. Warehouse is $23Mil, another adjacent building will be $7Mil.

Why is that crazy? It's the cost of convenience.

Exactly. Maybe you pay an extra $10 or $20 for a few items, and then you say I paid $10 or $20 so I didn't have to go to Walmart or Kroger today. There are times that math works for me!

That is why they call stores like that convenience stores.

I only go to Walgreens when a certain item is on sale. A few years when I went to buy this item I had hard time because I couldn't find a cart. I had to make several trips back and forth to bring the items to the cash register. They said all the carts had been stolen. Last week I went to a Dollar General to pick up a few things. They said people stole all their carts. Is this a problem in Huntsville?

No, it is like that all across the country, from Hawaii to Maine and Wisconsin to Florida.
