Seems like she will be announcing in Montgomery during a Chamber meeting. It does sound like the announcement could be related to I-565 like AU HSV mentioned.

There it is, Ivey just announced I565 will be expanded to 6 lanes, Browns Ferry will be widened to I65 and the Tanner interchange will be redone.

Good news! Hopefully, it is the new plan that will widen I-565 all the way up to I-65, not the previous I-565 partly-widening plan tied to Town Madison development. Brownferry widening sounds like a previous plan where it was planned for the section between I-65 and new Greenbrier Pkwy.

A site plan found online would indicate Saltgrass Steak House, Zaxby’s, Milo’s restaurants and Twice Daily Convenience Store will call Town Madison home.
Town Madison Spokesman, Joey Ceci confirmed Twice Daily, a high-end convenience store that includes its new White Bison Coffee concept, will cement a location at Town Madison.

Could Twice Daily, Milo

But there's already a Zaxby's about a half mile north of the development on the west side?

You can never have too many Zaxby's.

Probably relocate. That Zaxby's can be a pain to turn into from the northbound lane a lot of times.

Interesting that Mayor Battle said work may begin this summer. That would be remarkable if true and would mean construction drawings are basically ready to go out for bids. Sure better clarification will come out in a few days but this time next year you could possibly see major construction in progress on I-565, Research Park Blvd, North Parkway at Mastin Lake, and possibly even US 72.

I swear to the Almighty that if the 565 widening is completed before Zierdt, I’ll lead a march on city hall
