Got there later than I intended and I didn't get a very good place for pictures, but here we go...

Hey, that art car looks just like a cop. owait lol

I found a limitation for this little camera - when there's motion in the middle of the image, in the foreground and background at the same time, things get a little, shall we say, unfocused.

A historic first here - taking a picture of a guy taking a picture. Since I was up against a wall I don't think I ended up in anyone's pictures.

Totally getting there earlier and setting up somewhere better next time...

There were A LOT of people at the intersection of Allen Parkway/Montrose. That was the reason? Didn't know of it.

Yerp. I was on the other end though, Bagby@Lamar downtown. I might get on Allen next year.

Thx for posting some pics. We missed it this year but usually go every year. It is a blast. I love it because people often get to see a side of Houston they don't know. Its fun, electic, eccentric, art, statements, etc. with participants from all walks of life and all across the country. However to fully enjoy it, attendees need to remember it is art and sometimes art can be making political statements, pc statements, etc., freedom of speech statements, etc. Those type expressions can offend some people. I love it -- it is one of my favorite Houston events.

I wonder how many people noticed the "NOBAMA IN 2012" on that one with all the little mini-trailer things hauling a bunch of American flags. Anyway, that kind of thing is what you mean...welcome to America.

Back on Main you even had this little sideshow going on.

Usually a zoo at this intersection because its the staging area. It usually gets blocked off. One of my favorite events in the city! I wonder how many of the cars will be in the Tulsa (copycats!) parade next weekend.
