If you want swanky, couple thing..
We did the murder myster dinner at the Double Tree two years ago... it was a little pretentious, but a lot of fun... good drinks.. and entertaining..

it just wasn't cut loose wild, though.

We always end up at one ranch or another. Doing fireworks, drinking around the bonfire, getting lost at 3 am in the woods (don't ask), poker and general BS. I much prefer that to going out to "party."

And safer. You can't get hit by a drunk driver while stumbling around in the woods.

My house is a blast, I tell ya. It's like a competition between DH and me, to see how long we can keep our eyes open. Usually neither of us put up much of a fight. We're both generally passed out--not from alcohol, but sheer exhaustion--at around 11:55pm.

We've gotten really pathetic.

We can usually make it to 12:05 am because we start drinking coffee around 10 pm.
