I will be moving to TX in 2 weeks an I am curious about the states drivers and vehicle license laws.

May I keep my CO drivers license and vehicle license (plates & tags) or must I change over?

Here in CO I wouldn't have any problems renewing the tags on my plates if they were out of state, and I could keep my out of state drivers license.

By law (http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/administration/driver_licensing_control/movingtotexas.htm - broken link) you are supposed to register your vehicle and secure a texas drivers license within 30 days.

Stupid me put off getting my TX license and accidentally let my PA license expire at the end of Nov. Now I have to take the test again.
