No way in hell could I continue to live with my parents and deal with all the arguments and CHORES. You want to run the people over in rice village and the montrose area, but rather live up north?? What you see those people doing is what your going to see a lot more up there I promise you. If you don't like the culture of the inner loop (which is basically city life), than you belong in the suburbs and not anywhere in the city.

Maybe your just afraid to cross over from your childhood into manhood, and start living alone and freely. College is suppose to be the best years of your life, but your turning yours into a living hell. You should be living on campus or close by to keep up with the latest activities and gatherings so you can make new friends and get the hell out more.
This, a thousand times over.

Did you have to struggle to make ends meet when you moved out at 18? I really dont want to have to live paycheck to paycheck living on my own; but i think i can easily afford an apartment with a roommate. I'am acctually really considering moving out; it really depends.

Saying that the culture of the inner loop is basically city life is pretty outlandish and quite frankly ludicrous. There are exurbs all over that have those people that i mentioned before; what city has a Randalls that belongs in a Suburb within spitting distance of downtown. What other city has such a lame excuse for a rail line. The city life of Houston is vastly different than any other city.

I hope you noticed that the people that I want to run-over are usually yuppies and "elitest" exurb residents. And i do agree that Yuppies are much more prevalent in northern cities; however there are also people that live in the urban life because there are folks that grew up in the urban environment and want to continue living there(which in Houston is very unheard of).

It's called financial aid and on-campus living. I worked my whole junior and senior year of high school to get prepared for school. I also moved from another city in Texas to come to Houston.
