The media was and still is correct, you unfortunately are still wrong. I've spent most of the day helping 3 friends drag soaked carpet and wood flooring out of their homes in the Woodlands.

Read that post of mine again. That post of mine was a reply to your post that asserted both - 1.Timber Lakes/Timber Ridge, and 2. Budde Rd are not in The Woodlands

My "Yep, re both areas" meant that I agreed with you.

If I disagreed with you, I would have written 'Nope, both are in The Woodlands'.

I then quoted the Houston Chronicle's erroneous assertion that Timber Lakes and Timber Ridge are in The Woodlands, and I capitalized the word IN. I followed the quote from the Chronicle with only two words....'nope'...and 'wrong'.

In case you have any doubt that what I am explaining above is the case, look at the very next post (after the one you are replying to above) on this thread where I am replying to a person who is asserting that Budde Rd = the border of The Woodlands. I disagreed with that poster, and proved that you and I are correct re both areas (TR/TL, and also Budde Rd) by providing a link to the boundary map on The Woodlands Township website.

I think that most of TW didn't end up bad, but there was some flooding. There are some areas which are in flood zone, easily. Some more, some less.
I bet, some McDonald Rd homes had an issues. I remember when we inquired about lot (2 years ago) on McDonald (Grogan's Mill) and FEMA allowed to build on only 10, 000 sq.f. and only highly elevated. The lot was 1 ac. There's creek behind the lots.

If the media would just say woodlands area instead of woodlands everyone would be happy on this thread.

Is any Houston area car dealership's parking lot flooded and all the cars flooded as well?

I wouldn't be buying a used car any time soon in any state. Those flooded vehicles get spread out all across the country.

How can one detect if a used car had been flooded?

What are the negative effect of a car that was flooded?
