We currently live and work in The Woodlands and are looking for a church home with a diverse congregation, strong children ministry and sound teaching. Any recommendations?

There are some great churches, of course, in The Woodlands area. If you are looking for a bit more of a multi-cultural feel, it would be worth the drive to Spring Woods Church on 1960 - not a bad drive on Sundays - try the 11:15 a.m. ARISE! worship celebration.

Woodsedge in Spring, bordering the Woodlands. Definitely sound teaching, good kid's ministry, very missions/ outreach oriented, and the congregation is made up of a mix of ethnicities.

Don't ask me because I'll start talking trash about the church I used to go to

I just went to Woodsedge website and lo and behold, the pastor has as part of his core value statement that the church values and pursues diversity. Here is the link if you want to watch it: WoodsEdge Community Church
