I am building a Lennar home in CCR and have spent quite a bit of time researching the two builders. If anyone has any questions please let me know. I'm not here to debate one builder over another. From watching one of each being built they look just like the other from what I can tell.

We had a budget we couldn't go over and Lennar offered more for the money. From what I've seen both builders have solid pros and cons.

Lennar is the best bang for the buck, but offers little in being able to customize the home. My communication with Lennar has been less than stellar. Excellent value for a dirt build can be had here. Lennar is building a bunch of spec homes and I would be worried buying from any builder that I wasn't able to have a pre-sheetrock inspection.

Newmark will offer a lot of customized options but everything cost more with Newmark and that doesn't mean you are getting a better product. If you don't need to customize the default plans the extra you will spend on fireplace, patio, etc will drive your sqft cost up very quickly. Most if not all Newmark homes have very little storage (towel) closet space. Some of the larger two story plans have ZERO towel closets.

There is no comparison between the two.

Are you referring to Village Builder or Lennar Lennar ?
