We are relocating to Houston next summer and have plenty of time to consider housing options. We are looking hard at Cross Creek Ranch CCR and Cinco. I will work in the Energy Corridor and hopefully the wife can work from home. Looking from across the nation it looks like both are similar with Cinco being a tad bit closer to Houston and CCR being able to utilize Cinco's development.

Question #1: If the development keeps moving west doesnt that make Cross Creek Ranch a horrible investment or at least extremely long term for the return?

Question #2:The commuting seems to be the main point of contention about living in CCR. If that point weren't on the table how would you feel about living in the community?

Question #3: How long will it take for CCR and the other new developments in Cinco to be complete?

Thanks so much for the advice and we are definitely looking forward to getting back to Texas as fast as possible!

As long as the economy keeps going in the positive direction you can't go wrong with CCR. The developers have done a great job on the community and the area is booming. Katy does not have a lot of land to develop on so next up is Fulshear and Richmond as up and coming areas.
