METRO is a horrible idea and I HATE the fact that my taxes go towards it. Wherever METRO goes, crime follows considering the kind of people that use it.

I love Sugar Land and think it's a wonderful place to live. I just wish they would stop letting kids from Four Corners and other undesirable places go to schools in Sugar land like Austin HS. Why would their kids be allowed to come to our schools when we have to pay considerably more in property and school taxes than they do?

Please. Dont come here with that crap. All hearsay with no proof to back anything up. Are you aware of how many suburbs in America, many much nicer than Sugar Land, that have transit? Small minded thinking like your own is what is holding the Houston area back. This us vs them mentality you have is pretty bad. Might want to live in a bubble and home school your kids.

^^ Exactly

For example Bethesda, Maryland (located in the suburbs of Washington DC) has a higher per capita income than Sugar Land ($58,479 vs $41,316) and has transit access to DC via the Washington Metro, let has a very low crime rate even compared with Sugar Land. Also keep in mind that many "criminals" have vehicles or have access to vehicles as well, you are not going to see someone break into a house and take a big screen tv on the bus.

Agreed. Again Memorial, River Oaks and West U all have Metro routes through them. Higher income/property values in those areas than Sugarland. Similar statistics of actual crime as Sugar Land. Nuisance and petty crime probably more though, but hey its the city.

Possitive?... Roger says he might be getting a townhouse in Sugarland so he and his son dont have to deal with traffic on game days.

I'd be more concerned with trolling cars. Not much stash you can take with you on the metrooooooo.
