Downtown would be Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Theme Park would not do much for the city. Would probably shut down in 15 years

This would even blend in around the Convention District:
That will NEVER happen here. You need to set your goals a littel lower. Casino gambling is one thing, building a whole city based on gambling like vegas, is a totally diffrent monster, which would never happen here.

Just not sure everyone here knows everything that comes along with.

I'm from St. Louis and when we got the riverboat casinos they were a game changer. Turned the economy around, provided jobs, brought in tourists. Then 10 years later we had an epidemic on our hands. Poverty went through the roof. Demand for social services sky rocketed. Divorces soon followed. Just putting this out there.

On the flip side, the county did tax the casinos pretty good and put a lot of that money into welfare and even a local hospital I think. Just something to consider.

People don't think about that. All the undesribles that gambling attracts. The low lifes, the hustlers, drugs dealers, pimps, runaways, sex traffic.

Space Travel theme? Earth Quiest revisited??, Disney??? Six Flags????

A major Aquarium would also be nice. Moody Gardens is too far, and The Aquarium downtown is nicely planned but too small. They should Flatten the area south of Pierce and build a Casino District there, and build a huge Aquarium north of I10 on all that land Olajuwon has.
Space Center Houston should already be more like Epcot, with some space themed rides. I'd rather Earth Quest be built tho. It's in such a great location and that side of town would continue to take off.
