This is the first time we are going to Rodeo with kids (6 yr and 4 yr). Wondering which carnival pack ticket should I buy. $50 pack is too much tickets for a day ? or..may be multiple (say, 3,) $10 pack is better ?

Appreciate suggestions.

I get the $50. It seems like a lot but you will burn through them pretty quick. Plus, the $50 pack includes a ton of coupons for free and discounted food and drinks.

Don't you need a Reliant Park Admission ticket ($7 adults, $4 kids), for Rodeo/concert ticket or season pass to enter the carnival area? Additional to the tickets?

Yes, you need admission tickets in addition to ride tickets.

$50 in tickets is pretty easy to go through...especially with kids if they like to ride rides.

We went through $50 in tickets within 4 rides last year. I'm sure the smaller rides are cheaper but I noticed last year the prices per ride went way up. You'll be amazed how quick you'll use it up.

Haha off topic but this brings back memories of when I was a kid about 15 or so.

My dad slipped a $50 to one of the carnival workers and he gave him a whole roll of tickets. Rode every ride we wanted about 5 times then gave the rest of them away to another family as we left. Fond memories even if my old man was being shady lol.

Last year I bought a couple of those packs through my building (I work downtown) as detailed here Half-Price Carnival Packs - Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and I was very dissapointed in them.

Not as easy to use as they make it seem... You could only get the drinks from certain vendors, and it usually meant having to buy a drink in order to get the other one "free"

It seems like they made you spend a whole lot more money in order to take advatange of the deals, and we ended up just giving them to someone else on the lines...

If you just want the ride tickets, it might be better to just buy those on site...

The coupons in the carnival packs are only good at the carnival food vendors, not regular vendors. Which makes sense...since it is a carnival pack.

Default Half price carnival pack

I know the deadline has already passed, but is there still a way to get these discounted tickets somehow?

Thanks,
Omer
