I hoid dat! That store is FILLLLLTHY! I go there once per year for one thing and one thing only. Potatoes. We have a 50 person party every year and I'm in charge of french fries. At 3 cents per lb., can't beat Foodtown for taters.

Their card was a problem for me, too. Then I snapped to the fact that I get money back from AE and Costco. I started using the AE for things they give back 2-3% on. It is enough to make a good addition to my rat hole. ;-)

Kroger isn't a cheap as people think but I still like it. I prefer HEB above all of them but it's always PACKED in everyone and I don't like the floor design.

You walk in and the produced is SO close to the door.

I feel claustrophobic just walking in and leaving.

I always worry that in the even of an emergency you can't get out the doors because you're dodging crates of apples and oranges and plums and because of that the doors seem so much smaller than the average grocery store.
