Hello fam,

Not really new to the site mostly just a lurker but my 2nd time posting. Currently relocating to the houston area and looking at the conroe or Kingwood areas. Kingwood seems really attractive but just curious about potential fires in the kingwood area. Is there any history of fires in or near the kingwood that anyone could share. Thanks for any info

Kingwood is nice and certainly wouldn't let the thought of fires worry you. We are under an extreme drought of unusual proportions and any place in the city could catch on fire during this kind of thing and that would be in any city or any state facing things so dry.

Never heard of a large fire here, but anything is possible. Typically Kingwood gets a lot of rain and of course we are adjacent to a river and a lake but unusual conditions this year. Where are you working? Kingwood and Conroe are pretty far apart from each other, like a 40 minute drive.
