We are relocating from Florida to Texas in 4 weeks and have recently put an offer on a home in Legends Ranch. It is priced way below market. Can anyone tell me about Legends Ranch and if we are making the right decision? I have read in several threads that there is a large rental population. Any help is appreciated!

i am also moving to legends ranch in a few weeks from what i have seen it is a great community i do not live in texas yet but i have researched the community extensively and talked in great detail to several residence who love it there and would not trade the community for anything i also read the posting that spoke about the rental population but with all the good things that community has to offer the poster did not have anything good to say so you may need to take that opinion with a grain of salt. i have visited the community several times in the last 9 months and everytime i have grown to love it more for what it offers.

When you say "priced well below market" what references are you using to determine that?

I'm going by what all the other houses in Legends Ranch are listed at as well as the 2006 tax appraisal value.

If there's a large rental population, then I would be concerned, if you're buying (just my opinion).

if your concerned about rental population why don't you check Houston Real Estate - Houston Homes, Houston Home Value and Houston Relocation for rentals in the community

Smile Legends Ranch is wonderful!!!

Not many rentals that I know of...at least not that I've seen. We've been here for 6 months and LOVE it!!! Lots of ammenities for the same price as homes in other areas that don't offer as much. Sooooo family-oriented with the two pools, two playgrounds, walking trails and security of the guarded gate at the front. The people here are wonderful...very friendly and take care of their homes. We've been 100% happy here and I'm sure you will, too.
