Watch it closely, I guarantee what they did was a band aid to get rid of you. Also, don't let them put you off until the 2 year warrantee is over... Builders always try that 2 year stuff, but according to law, you have ten years. They don't want you to know that..
I wouldn't trust a builder an inch. The fact they were actually willing to do something for you tells me they know the problem is serious, and if they can spread a little silver stuff around, and make you happy, they win.
A word to the wise, don't trust them, and keep an eagle eye on your crack....!
Not to take anything away from Donn, but unless there is a specific 10 year written warranty, each State has a limit on the Statute of Limitations. For instance, in TN it's 4 years.

You're probably correct, it depends on the state. Here it's ten years, but my point was, the builder will lie to you. They want you to think the warrantee is over much sooner than it really is.
The builder is not your friend, and they are not there to help you. They will smile and pat your back while they steal your wallet..!
