I am considering a raised ranch for purchase. The finished basement floor (carpet covered) has a very strong and distinct slope. The sellers said there was a small crack (2inches) and when it was repaired, the finishing job left a bump (they call it bump instead of slope).
The main/upper level is perfectly fine and I dont see any issues anywhere else structurally. So to me, dosent look like a foundation issue.
Anybody has any experience/idea about this sort of thing? Should I take their word for it? (they have no records for the repair job)
