I would like to know where the best place is to store a full/partially full propane tank around the house. We do not have any outside storage building/etc. The only storage area we have is the garage. Can't store it in the front yard and the rest of the sides of the house are exposed to sun throughout the day. Thoughts...

If you know the obvious answer-
Propane Cylinder Storage - Safely Storing LP Gas Bottles

Your alternative is ridding yourself of the tank. If it's a grill- go charcoal.

Sun won't be a problem. We have a 250 gal tank that sits in the sun, as well as a 20 lb tank for the grill. Rain is more of an issue because it can promote rust. Theft is also an issue when a tank is left in the open. Think doghouse...

I have a shed, but it's inconvenient to store the spare propane tank for my grill way out in the shed, when the grill is on the deck. I bought a patio table, thats like a big upside down bucket, fake wicker to match the furniture. It fits right over the extra tank. From the outside, it just looks like a wicker table with my patio set.
