Well folks, we're 2 games in every series (exception being Chi-Nash) and surprisingly every series is tied up at 1-1. Is there anything special you've noticed so far, for me it has to be the way the lower seeds are dominating the games.
Granted in the Caps-Habs series it is tied, but the Caps know they have been outhit, outskated, and the Habs d-men have been fantastic blocking the Caps shots.
This is the beauty of hockey. Unlike in the NBA playoffs, where top seeds wasting bottom seeds is virtually always a gimme, you never know who will win in the NHL. Hockey playoffs are brutal and the intensity is beyond that of any other sport! Hockey Rules!
Philly is dangerous and could play a spoiler; however, I think the Devils remember the sting of losing that game 7 against Carolina and will put the hammer down.
Looks like they forgot to pack the hammer for this series ?
The Avs are such a crappy team and it pains me to see their totally uneducated fans smile at this second totally gifted victory. The idiots still think Blake's shoulder-to-shoulder hit on the glass Peter Mueller was "dirty." They've had their stolen franchise for 15 years and still don't know the ****ing game.
Well.....we know thats not going to happen now....don't we !!!
Congrats.. we played like cr@p and you won but I would save the gloating until you've booked your place in round 2. It's unlikely we'll play as badly tomorrow as we did on Sunday...
