Do you anticipate anyone in the East having the defense and goaltending to stop the Caps? I like Detroit if someone can do them the favor of knocking out Washington.
The Devils handled the big guns in the east pretty well during the regular season (3-1 against the Caps, 6-0 against the Pens) .. Unfortunately, we got paired with the Flyers in the first round who owned us this year (Philly won 5 of 6) and if last night was anything to go by that pattern looks like it might continue

Jacques Martin did a great job and I think Boudreau was outcoached in this one. Caps should have made a statement and failed.
