i don't think it will have much lingering effect though - come out focues for game 5 in the tank on saturday night
Looked beautiful to me, well, except for the 3rd where the Sharks went nuts trying to send a "message". We'll see what the effect is. Detroit looks better 5 on 5 through 4 games.
the tank will be rocking in game 5 ..... as stated earlier in this thread I really don't want to see a game 6
but as us shark fans know it's very hard to bounce back after such a tough start to a series .... they gave it a strong run against the stars a couple years ago .... but couldn't win that game 6 in dallas to take it back to the tank for 7 (it was the 4 OT game)
i think nabby is due for his occasional stand on his head game and I think it happens game 5 - howard better be ready to have the game of his life because the sharks will have some jump to them
Dominating? 3 one goal games. 2 of them won thanks to 5 on 3 penalties, and one thanks to a broken stick. The last game lost by 6 goals. That doesn't sound very dominating to me. They did better than the Wings for 3 games, but "dominating" is overstating it.

Self-admitted Wings fan here but I have to agree. I don't see a domination either way in the series (though if you want to call game 4 a domination I won't stop you. Or just Franzen himself LOL).
This series has been way closer than the 3-1 games suggest (in my opinion) and there have been some interesting scenarios for sure. I'm proud of the Wings regardless if they win or lose and they've made one heckuva path on the road given the year they started out with and even leading into the month of February. I hope the Wings pull out a game 5 win, but if they don't I hope they know how much so many of us "true" fans appreciate them taking us along for the ride we thought we might not even get to be on. (and I hope Lidstrom considers staying on (and they figure out a way to keep him here) because he's still playing some darn good hockey)
Nabby was probably drunk in the 1st period of Game 4.
Maybe Wings should have saved their goals for Game 5.
Sharks will celebrate in Game 5!
I think that someone needs to look up the definition of the word "dominating" in the dictionary, because it doesn't describe this series at all....Sharks have eked out a pair of wins under dubious circumstances, and just lost the last one by 6 goals..
As I write, the Canucks aren't looking too promising, either..
nothing dubious about controlling play and reeling off 6 straight in the playoffs - including 3 straight over your precious wings
Nothing "precious" about them; I follow several teams..
I can recognize a quality team when I see it, and the Wings have been the epitome of class and skill for the past 15 years, with numerous divisional titles and 4 Stanely Cups, where the Sharks haven't even had a sniff of the conference finals....talk about dubious..
All the more it says of us supporting the Sharks, as opposed to the nation of glory-hunters jocking the Flying Tires...
